Collaborative Pianist/Piano Accompanist

Summary of Position: Part-time accompanists provide collaborative piano support to instrumental and vocal music majors in Auburn University's Department of Music. Accompanists would be required to perform with students during studio rehearsals, recital performances, and juries. Some evening or weekend work may be necessary.

Required Job Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Collaborative Piano or related field and evidence of ta least 3-5 years of accompanying experience.

Preferred Job Qualifications: Master's Degree in Collaborative Piano or related experience.

Work Hours/Week: approximately 15-25 hours a week

Desired Start Date: August 16, 2018

Position End Date: December 31, 2018

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
